SharePeople always ask me about the tools I use to create my art and my videos so I have decided to put up a list of all the gear I use.
In this list you’ll find all the tools I use highlighted with links to good places to get them and also some recommendations.
Please go through this list before asking me about what I use to create my art.
Tablet
I use a graphic tablet by Wacom.
Wacom are considered the lead brand for graphic tablets and the model I use is
Intous 3. The Intous 3 series has been replaced recently with the new line of the
Intous series, the
and these offer better features and more comfort.
I use an A4 sized tablet but I actually find A4 to be too big and not so comfortable
so I would actually recommend getting the smaller more comfortable and a lot
cheaper

For Beginners I would recommend getting the

I heard only good things about these from people and they should be a good
choice for beginners. If your’e new to digital painting but you’re an experienced
traditional painter however I would defintely go with the
medium.
Painting Program
I use Adobe Photoshop for digital painting and in fact digital painting is only a small
portion of the things Adobe Photoshop can be used for since it’s the standard
program for desig and web design tasks so I definitely recommend getting
photoshop.

Painter unlike photoshop is a program designed mostly for digital painting and offers
more sophisticated and more authentic brushes than photoshop but therefor it
carries a bit more weight on your computer so this would be a great choice too but
ony if you have a stronger computer.

Monitor
I use a phillips 24 inch wide screen monitor and it’s great. Before that I used to have
an LG monitor which I can also say was great but was smaller.
another great brand is dell.
Most professionals use
for screen capturing and it’s a great
program with a lot of features and includes editing features.
The program I use though is Hypercam and it’s a lot more basic and does only
screen capturing but it’s more than ok for me.
For video editing I use Adobe Premiere and it’s just great and has a pretty intuitive
interface. The program has very sophisticated features and yet it’s very easy to use.
