Hi , my name is Williams Shamir and I was born in Bat
-Yam, Israel .
I LIVE and BREATH art
Being the son of a painter (my dad) I was attracted
to art from a very young age and I remember spending
time as a child watching my dad paint and falling in love
with the aroma of the oil and acryilic colors.
I used to draw a lot as a kid and my main influences as a
child were cartoons and video games and later portraits.
At age 11 I started painting portraits with acrylic colors
and at age 14 I had my own comics column at a magazines which was published
nation-wide. At that year I also won a nation-wide art competition.
A year later when I was 15 tragedy hit and my dad suffered a stroke and wasn’t
able to talk or move ever since. He passed away 5 years later during my time as
a soldier.
Throughout the years between when I was 15 and 24 I almost didn’t paint at all
(except maybe for drawing on my notebooks at school) and during thaese years
I spent most of my time composing music and programming.
I got back to painting at age 24, after realising that art is what I wanted to do with
my life, soon afterwards I bought a tablet and iv’e been possessed with painting
ever since.
I have been privileged to enjoy recognition on youtube with my
painting/music videos and to be featured on my country’s national TV and various
websites.
I feel greatly blessed and greatly humbled at the same time for being given the
privilege to share my love of art with so many people who are enjoying my art
and my music.
