Freddie Mercury – Speed Painting work in Progress – Part 2

freddie-mercury-by-williams-shamir-part-2 Hey everyone,
How are you doing ?
So as you can see I have added
rought coloring here.
I have been working with
lines of brush strokes, just
getting the rough color feel
of the picture by applying very
rough brush strokes using the
standard hard edged brush that’s
default in photoshop (opacity
set to pen pressure).
What is left to do now is to get
into more detail and get the
expression and emotion on
Freddie’s face.
Anyway… back to work for me
now.
I’d like to wish you everyone
a wonderful and creative day.
Don’t forget to vote for what
you’d like me to paint in the
future in the top right section of
the screen … I think I’ll set a limit
of 300 so that the first one who will reach 300 votes would be the winner.
Anyway take care guys and have an awesome day.
Love

- Will

Freddie Mercury – Speed Painting work in Progress – Part 1

freddie-mercury-by-williams-shamir-part-1 Hi everyone, how are you
today ?
I have been a bit busy lately
working on some project and
also doing some redesigning
on my website…
there is also a poll now where
you can decide what I’m going
to paint on one of my future
paintings…
I thought about setting a limit
of 300 votes where the first
to reach 300 votes would be the
winner so feel free to vote for
what you’d prefer me to paint
for one one of my next videos
Anyway…
As you can see I have started
drawing Freddie Mercury.

Freddie Mercury RIP
(5 September 1946 – 24
November 1991) was one of
my favorite singers when I was
a little kid (and still is) and queen was my favorite band (until Nirvana came).
In addition to his phenomenal amazing voice, his musical talent and unmatched
stage persona Freddie was also a brave fighter and one of the most passionate
performers of all time.

CRAB MONSTER – SPEED PAINTING WORK IN PROGRESS – PART 3

warrior_vs_crab_monster-part3

THE REAL STORY BEHIND THIS
PAINTING…

Hey guys… how are you?
This painting really turns out
kind of harder than I have
expected… it’s not really
because the subject is hard
to paint or anything like that…
But as you may have read in
the older progress posts here
I have started painting this
painting about half a year ago,
then I just abandoned it and now I have picked it up again… back then I had a kind
of a different idea about how I was going about this painting and how and what I
was going to paint and I started working on it accordingly.
Now I kind of have a different idea about how I want it to look… so basically that’s
why it turns out messy…

CRAB MONSTER – SPEED PAINTING WORK IN PROGRESS – PART 2

warrior_vs_crab_monster-par3 Hello everyone,
How are you today ?
Didn’t get to paint as much as
I would have liked to in the last
couple of days but still made
some nice progress with this
speed painting video…
As you can see the crab is
half cyborg.
I’m still not sure about certain
things, for example I’m
considering painting it’s eyes
open and I’m not sure about
what kind of background I’m going to paint for this one…
As I wrote in the last post I have started this painting a long time ago and back
then I had a bit of a different idea about how this would turn out so this one is
pretty "adventurous"… Anyway I’ll be going back to painting now so expect a new
update on this one pretty soon…
Take care guys and have a wonderful day.

– Willy
